This property was first noted <strong>on October 31, 1804</strong>, in the Dunbar & Hunter Journals, which was the first commissioned expedition to explore the Ouachita River by President Thomas Jefferson. Similar to the more widely known Lewis and Clark expedition. A truly unique property with much to offer, this property has just about every kind of hunting and fishing Louisiana offers. Some of the massive timber on the land is a sight to behold. There is almost a half mile of frontage on the Ouachita River and over a half mile of Bayou Calamus frontage.
